"In frontman and songwriter Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy possessed a rock hero as charismatic as his King of Dublin successor Bono and in Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham, the band had a twin guitar attack that perfectly complemented their leader.
But yearning fans now have Limehouse Lizzy, quite simply one of the most stunning tribute bands around. Ex-band members may have attempted to keep the legacy alive, but they can’t come close to the tightness, power and sheer professionalism of frontman Wayne Ellis, the guitar pairing of Greg Alcock and Tim Read and the powerhouse drumming of Andy Fox. Lizzy barnstormed their way through a set that was a joyful reminder of just what a hole Lynott’s early demise left, with Jailbreak, The Boys Are Back In Town, The Cowboy Song and Rosalie firing up the crowd, before Whisky In The Jar set the seal on a memorable night’s rocking”
